My Life

Privacy

Last updated 5 August 2026

My Life is run by CS, an individual in Australia. It is a personal project offered free of charge. This page says what it collects, what it does with it, and what it does not promise.

What it collects

It does not collect a date of birth, and it does not use advertising or analytics trackers.

What it is used for

Running the service, and nothing else. Your entries are shown to you. They are shown to another person only where you have made that happen: by creating a share link for a single entry, or by setting up an arrangement that sends your archive to people you named if you stop signing in.

Your writing is never read for any other purpose, never sold, and never given to anyone for marketing. CS can technically access stored data — it is his server — and will only do so where necessary to operate or repair the service, or where the law requires it.

Where it is kept

On Cloudflare's infrastructure (R2 and D1), which acts as a processor for this service. Data may be stored and processed outside Australia. Cloudflare's own terms and security practices apply to that hosting.

What you can ask for

Email cs@rightcortex.io. If you are unhappy with the response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

What this does not promise

Please read this part, because it is the part people assume.

To the maximum extent the law allows, CS is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of this service, including lost data or a message that failed to send. Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Your responsibilities

Write about other people with the care you would want. If you upload something about someone else, you are the one who decided to. Do not use this service for anything unlawful.

Children

Not intended for children under 16 without a parent involved.
